i can't swear we have the same issues, but now that i have read so many posts of women complaining of the same side effects, i am convinced... my mirena has caused hypothyroidism.

i have had 19 of these symptoms, plus leg pain and dizziness. get your iud removed and when your doctor insists it can't be the mirena, tell him/her that you have heard from plenty of women that they have experienced the same symptoms. Dr.'s receive compensation from pharmeceutical companies to be walking billboards for their products. Your doctor may be one of them. when they call you a liar as many others have done, find a doctor that will remove it. good luck
