another person going off Effexor

After reading some of the posts on here, I'm starting to get a little worried. Today is my first day going from 150 mg to 112.5 mg for a week, then down to 75 mg for three weeks. My doctor told me all about the withdrawls, but it sounded more like IF than WHEN.
I have been taking Wellbutrin and Effexor for a few months. I'm not really a "give me drugs" sort of person, but my life was so far gone it was the only choice. I have to say that the Wellbutrin has changed my life. I have emotions, ambition, and -my husbands favorite change - a sex drive.
I'll let you know how it goes.
