Blood clots/thrombosis

Hi,

I had a deep-vein thrombosis several years ago and I'm trying to find out if its safe for me to use the mirena coil. One doctor has said it's safe and the other didn't recommend it! I'm interested in hearing from anyone with a simular experience?
