Brittle, dry, breaking falling out from the root hair

I was glad when I stumbled upon this site, now I know I'm the only one who has been experiencing the horror of losing hair from an IUD. I have had my IUD almost six years and just now figured out that my IUD is most likely the cause of my slow steady hairloss. It has gotten proggressively worse the past couple of months, my scalp is extremely dry and my hair is coming out from the root with the little bulbs on the end of the hair. I am a 34 year old African American on the verge of losing all my beautiful crowning glory. Now that I know better I am scheduling an appointment for removal of my Paraguard. Thank all of you for speaking out :)
