An urban ER would be an excellent place for an ND to train as it is often the "doctor's office" for the poor, people without insurance. Such an experience would expose the trainee to a different level of intensity, making for fast thinking skills, exposure to a variety of injuries and illnesses that he or she might not ever see in a clinic. Also, don't you think that it would be great exposure and learning for allopaths?
