copper iud

I was wondering if anyone has experienced weight gain from the copper iud. I have put on at least 5lbs and have not changed my lifestyle or eating habits at all. I'm also having more mood swings as if I always have pms. i've read so much about the mirena causing problems, but what about the copper?
