I have been on cymbalta for about a year and a half. I was put on it for anxiety and panic. I definitely feel it helped. However, I am now dealing with overactive bladder and it started around the time I started cymbalta. I have been to a urologist and they could find nothing wrong so i hoped that it was the cymbalta b/c this has become so unbelievably dissruptive. I feel like I have to pee constantly and wake up every 2 hrs at night to go. my last hope was that it was a side effect of cymbalta. So I weaned off about a month ago and experienced about a week of those aweful side effects. Unfortunately, the peeing did not get better so I took a 30mg pill today b/c I have been feeling overwhelmed and stressed, and the peeing actually got worse today! I really dont know what to do. I feel that since Ive been off, I am much more stressed out and overwhelmed. I am also ADHD and now Im thinking the cymbalta was helping with that. Renal and Urinary Disorders Frequent: dysuria and urinary hesitation; Infrequent: micturition urgency, nephropathy, nocturia, urinary incontinence, urinary retention, and urine flow decreased.
