day after mirena put in i have emergency surgery

I got my mirena put in tuesday, i found myself after lots of pain and tons of bleeding having emergency exploratory surgery. Tuesday night i called my dr in pain and bleeding, she thought it was just placement problems...i go in wed morning...for an hour they try to get it out...(hurt sooooooooo bad) they even have me a shot of novicaine in my cervix and uterus to try to help with the pain. They used their fingers, tongs, and a hook. Oh and that string...never was to be found. They lost it on the ultrasound and finally gave up. I was sent for an ultrasound at the hospital...they could no longer see it in my uterus... and then i had a cat scan...it was no longer in my uterus instead it was sitting near my appendix. I was then sent straight to pre-op and then had to undergo surgery to get it out. I am still bleeding, i am in pain, and i have a 2 month old i have to take care of along with his 3 other brothers. Total NIGHTMARE. I have read that nursing mothers shouldnt be given it b/c their uterus is softened while nursing and the chance of perferation is bigger. I was never ever told anything like that. I love my dr...but i am really considering seeing a lawyer. I should never have been given the mirena...especially since when she was putting it in it hurt from the start and my uterus clamped down as she put it in. The bleeding started that moment. Now i have to pray that the hole in my uterus will not become infected and that i dont have serious damage. The picture i got from the surgery, the hole looks horrible
