Dry itchy spots

I am experiencing some wierd itchy rash around the nose, in the crease of the chin, and around the top of my lips. These are symptoms that in a matter of like 2 minutes come out of nowhere. I have never had anything like this until I had the Merina placed in. It has happend three times since I have had it inserted. My doctor prescribed some topical solution to stop the itching. It goes away after like a week. I never know when it will come back. It is really horrible looking, and very, very uncomfortable. There is nothing to explain what it is. I have been seen twice for it. I was wondering if anyone else had symptoms like this?
