Effexor Help

Hello everyone!

I am 23 years old, and was taking Effexor (XR) 225mg per day. I am on day 6 of quitting cold turkey, and feel terrible! Sleep and food are completely out of the picture. My head is spinning, I am confused, vomiting, dizzy, my acid reflux disease is acting up, and the list goes on and on.

I called my local hospitals...thinking they could help and they all said I was stupid for pulling myself off, and they cannot do anything for me. So I have NO medical help at all with this.

I found that many people on here have gone through this and I was wondering if any of you could help me cope with it? Any suggestions to make life easier? How long did it take you to get over it?

After this I am filing charges against my doctor for the way she has treated me...pill pusher...and filing charges on the company who makes Effexor!

I was misinformed, and now am suffering worse than before. Effexor is linked to a heart disease I was recently diagnosed with among many other problems!

Anyone planning on taking this drug should be aware...it does NOT help you...and is very hard to get out of your system.

Effexor should be ILLEGAL!!! Please be advised BEFORE you take it!
