I just thought I would update you on how I have been since having my Mirena removed. I had bleeding for a week after I had it removed (July 25th), then it stopped and I got a regular period a week later. That is over now and I have stopped bleeding for really the first time since I had the mirena put it (April 25th), The weight and bloated feeling have gone and my hair does not seem to be falling out any more. I feel like myself again! I am sure those who had it in longer may take longer to feel like their old selves again, but I am just glad to be back. I am willing to put up with longer/heavier periods. It is certainly better than having the mirena!
