Finally Out!

Had my mirena removed and feel so much better. Only had it for 7 weeks, bled for four and gained over 10 lbs! I also had a constant pressure in my pelvic area. Went 2X to have removed and Dr. assured me it was not the mirena that was causing my discomfort or my weight gain. Finally the third time I had it removed and I am so happy! Removal was quick, I got a "regular" period two days later. Very normal, slight cramping, nothing out of the ordinary. I was petrified after reading some of the horror stories about having it removed but in my case it was the best decision I have made regarding this Mirena! Good luck to those of you still having problems, just remember to listen to your body, nobody knows it better than you!
