I had the Mirena removed after having it in for 1 year. Hair loss was a significant deciding factor among many other problems. I've been seeing a dermatologist who tested my iron and said that it was low. I've been taking Iron supplements and using men's Rogain. My hair has stopped falling out but I am damn near bald! My forehead is so high now! Most of my hair loss has been in the forehead and crown area. YES - it's the mirena. Also, the 2 week long periods I was having didn't help with the hair loss and low iron. Good luck!
