hypoglycemia and vision

About 10-15- years ago I was diagnosed with hypoglcemia. I Usualy do very well keeeping it under control. But I have noticed sometimes when I am at work and don't get the opportunity to eat a snack in the mid morning, that within 2 or 3 hours I get a blurred vision, and of course this is worsen when my allergeries are acting up. So my question is why does my vision get blurry at this time?
