Is it a peroid, or just due to removal?

I had Mirena inserted when my son was 7 weeks old and I love it. I cannot take the pill and iud's from the past have made me bleed too much. I had spuratic bleeding the first couple of months (light and long periods). But no bleeding whatsoever for 7 months now(Possibly due to breastfeeding). I just had my Mirena removed 7 days ago to try for another baby, and i had very light bleeding 2 days later that lasted 1-2 days. My question to those of you that have had bleeding after removal: Did you consider that a period? In other words, did you have another period about 4 weeks later? I just would like to know so I can start an ovulation chart. We want to get started right away!
