IUD almost 7 years now :(

I kept listening to my Dr. tell me it had nothing to do with my wt. gain; I had it in for 5 yrs., and then another one put in a year and a half ago...almost seven years now. They told me since i turned 30 it was my metabolism...but, I used to be a size 3...5'3", and now I am almost 160! HOLY SMOKES..I feel disgusting. I, too, am a vegitarian and feel as though the pounds in the middle, thighs and butt are uncontrollable. After having it reinserted I gained another 15lbs...NOW I KNOW it is not anything else but this IUD. I am going in on Thurs to have it out. I only hope I can loose this weight easier. I feel like I ate myself...When I look in the mirror I don't know where I am anymore. :(
