It would be worthwhile to explore the idea of a possible cross reaction from the species p. mirabilis which has shown up in about a third of RA patients. Basically, an overgrowth of this irritating bacteria seems to cause a cross reaction to the joint structures in some patients. This is well documented in the peer reviewed literature by the Finns.
