The problem is also finding an MD to work with an ND. It generally doesn't happen. NDs in my area charge a fortune and cannot even order lab tests, though one did and I had to pay out of pocket so she wouldn't get into trouble. If you did all that training and had a huge financial aid loan to be paid, and you started practicing, how easy would it be for you NOT to diagnose and treat?
