I don't do it myself & am not trained; however, a family member is and I have seen the slides myself. (He's also an acupuncturist).
I took lab dx and there are more than rbcs, wbcs, & platelets seen. I saw with my own eyes something the lentgh of the slide with "teeth". I admit it sounds crazy. I think in any case, it's best to expereince this or other modalities before refferring to them as "pure quackery."
On another note, this famliy member's patients get well! Some travel from across the US. I am an MD and had an unresolving condition that did not go away until I was treated by my family member. I too thought the whole "parasite" craze was absurd, but after 3 years of allopathic medicine my condition resolved.
By the way, Dr Quackery - why are you on this site? The NDs out there know more about naturopathic medicine than we do, and it's disrespectful to label medicines you're not educated in as quackery.
It's not to any of our patient's advantage to be quarrelsome. I'm guessing you live somewhere without many NDs around & that you haven't seen them get better from something you are not trained in (I live in pacific NW where we tend to get along).
Best,
Dr D
