lung nodule

I'm 60 year old female. I've had fairly regular chest xrays - this week Dr. saw what he called scar on left lung. Had CT with and without contrast - told me I had nodule and told me to go to pulmonary specialist. No other information. No symptoms. What do I need to ask? I feel like I'm being shuffled around and not being told anything.
