I,too, have been diagnosed with a macular hole and would like to find the answer to this question! In my case, I have a stage 3, full-thickness macular hole. I'm seeing a great acupuncturist who has made my eyes feel better; he's having me take an herbal tea which includes something called "puncture vine."
