mirena and acne

I have had my mirena for over nine months. First off, having it inserted was the worst pain I have experienced since having my son eight years ago. Secondly, I have had terrible acne since I got the stupid thing put in. I have never had acne like this! No topical solution or antibiotic will help this acne. I would NOT recommend this method of birth control to anyone. I have an appointment in two months to have it taken out and I am TERRIFIED that it will hurt as bad as it did going in. Can someone tell me their experience with removal???
