I had mine removed after 60 days of bleeding and intense cramping. I also experienced weight gain. The catalyst in having it removed was mood changes. Everyone, and all the literature say all the hormones stay in a centralized area. I don't believe it. I'm not complainer or one that exagerates. My symptoms were real. When I finally had it removed the doctor said I had an infection. Antibiotics are gone, and I still feel an uncomfortable feeling "there."
I have contacted berlex for reimbursement and they refuse right now. I will join a lawsuit and happy to give my testimony to ensure this company communicates realty not just what they want people to hear for their success.
