mirena and heartburn?

hi all - I'm probably being paranoid but after 3 months of the coil fitted I have gained weight, fortunately have very light periods (as opposed to having to spend a day next to a toilet they were so heavy!) but I have now developed heartburn whcih I can't seem to shift. The only ever time I have heartburn was when heavily pregnant with 2nd child. Has anyone any thoughts or am I just being paranoid!!?
