mirena and ovarian cysts

i had the mirena put in over a year ago because i was having to many problems with the pill. i had it in for about 2 months and within those 2 months i developed 2 small cysts on my ovary. the doctor told me it did not cause my cysts but i didn't care i wanted it out. so i got it taken out and they told me that my cysts were only about 2cm and they should dissolve. well during that year i always had a dull ache on my side where my cysts were. a year later it hurt so bad i went back to the doctor and found out that those little cysts merged and became a 9cm cyst on my ovary. i had to have surgery to get it removed but before the mirena i never had a cyst and now after i never got another one so i know the mirena caused my cysts.
