Mirena has worked GREAT!

I have had the IUD for 5 months. One big cramp during insertion but no cramps or pain after insertion. I've had no side effects. Light spotting for three months, period light after first month and now my period last for one 1-2 days and is very, very light; almost non existent now. Spotting is rare now and will be like one incident and not all day type spotting. I am 50 with one child and not even close to menapause so I was very happy to learn about the Mirena IUD.
