Mirena---I thought i was losing my mind

I had mine placed in july of 05. About a year ago i started having panic attacks due to pains in my arms and chest.....fatigue....shortness of breath.....night sweats....flushing....all symptoms of a heart problem. I went to my cardio and they ran every test available and they showed my heart to be fine. I am now on anti-anxiety meds do to the anxiety attack and panic attacks. I seriously thought i was a hypochondriac but now i see that most of the people here have had the same symtoms as me. My mom kept telling me get the IUD out but i never once thought it could be causing all these issues. I ended up having it taken out a few weeks ago due to it coming out of place. I woke up and it felt like i had a tampon in wrong, went to the doctor and she said it was not expelled but was not where it was suppose to be. I feel SOOOOOOOOOO much better now. My anxiety is almost completly gone. I still have the aches and pains but i am hoping they go away in time. I use to tell everyone the IUD was the best thing i had ever done.........now i tell them to RUN
FAST if their OB/GYN tries to talk them into having this thing put in. I am so glad i found this board it did let me know that i am not a crazy person.
