Mirena pain symptoms

I had my mirena removed on 03/06/07 and am now waiting for my first period. Before then I had back ache, abdominal pains, and pain in my left ovary and thigh. I still have some of these, but less severe. I have put on 14 lbs in the 21 months I had the coil in also. I would like to hear how many others have similar pains so that I can convince my gp it was the coil and not something else or hyperchondria. (I have felt like I must be imagining all the symptoms even though I know they were real). My gp wont' believe it is the coil.
