mirena removed yesterday

Had my mirena removed yesterday...it hurt a little when she removed it, but not much. I had her put in the Paragard, which I had had for 6 years before the mirena. It was NOTHING like the insertion of the mirena, which was painful. I have had no cramping like I did for 2 days after getting the mirena. I am having some spotting, but nothing bad. I bled for 9 weeks straight after having the mirena put in, gained 5 lbs, hair fell out, among other things. Will keep you posted on results, but right now I am just so glad to have it out!
