Mirena sucks; swollen joints everywhere
I am soooo happy we have all come together and have found an answer to our ailments - MIRENA! I had it insterted in Oct 2006 after the birth of my second child. Not sure if I want more kids ; figured I could decide in 5 years. First three months is was sharp pains under my right rib; the next month my right shoulder ached unbelievably (thought was from carrying my big boy); next couple months had hair loss; and now for the last month I have had all the joints in my hand swell tremdously; knees, feet, and elbows; and alsooooo ringing in my left ear. Ive had blood tests done where everything came back negative for about everything you can test for. Called my doc he said there is no way that it could be the Mirena; that the manufactures are very good at putting the side effects on the pamphlet for the product. So with all this going on and feeling near short to being crazy I googled mirena problems and symptoms and came across this forum. Tomorrow at 9:30 this thing will be out and hopefully I can play with my children and walk up my stairs and feel like myself again (oh yeah been moodddy too) Thank you all ladies and I will join anyones crusade on kicking there but heres my email - tchaffee15@hotmail.com
