Mirena symptoms

Hi ladies

I am so pleased I have come across this website - so pleased in fact I started crying with relief!
I had the mirena coil fitted on 29 Oct 2006 and today I decided to have it taken out. For the past six months I have suffered from depression, bad mood swings, tiredness, IBS and gained over 2 stone in weight. I eat health food and exercise 5-6 times per week yet still continue to gain weight!?
I have no idea if the symptoms will now go as it is to soon to tell, however I wait in hope. I just want my life back!

Please contact me if you have or are going through the same thing as just knowing I'm not going mad is so reassuring.
