Had mirena removed August 07, fell pregnant December and also found out in March 08 at 12 week scan that the baby's heartbeat had stopped. A very nasty shock.

Fell pregnant again July and heartbeat stopped at 8 weeks the next time, the doctor was scanning me fortnightly at that point.

Had D&C's both instances before any bleeding occurred.

Have had all the blood tests for thrombophilia, etc and all normal.

The specialist can't give any reason because before I had the mirena fitted, I had two normal pregnancies. (No miscarriages.)

Makes me afraid to try again. Doctor recommended me taking baby aspirin 75mg and he can give me injections to thin the blood presumably from placenta to baby.
