I was dx in May with this annoying virus, I believe I have had it since at least the beginning of march. I go to an ND as well as a derm for it. ND gives me anti-virals and immune support supplements, and the derm uses cauttery. Still no complete regression. ND suggested iodine. It is a anti-bacterial/viral and can be applied to a lesion that is open or closed, but I think works best on open lesions. I found through research on the net that use of apple cider vinegar is very effective. Soak cotton ball in vinegar, place under bandaid on lesion for 24 hours. Again, works best if you lightly abrade the top of the lesion so the vinegar really gets in theres. Causes some redness but has worked on each lesion I have tried it on. Both my derm and my ND had no idea bout this. Good luck. MC sucks.
