Re: ND? MD? which route to take

Basically, what M.D. said is scientifically and common-sensically accurate. I don't deny that there are many natural remedies which have real effects (e.g. aspirin from the willow extract). So the problems with N.D. are: lack of scientific recognition, and the shallowness of its standard of proof. Besides, the real money seems to go to the M.D.s. At least, at the end of your day, you may say: I helped a lot of people with remedies which I know (not: believe) to have real effects. Don't take anything for granted which you cannot back up with evidence from mainstream peer-reviewed print-published journals. This could make a difference between practice and malpractice.

I do have an open mind. In fact, I am so open-minded that I accept everything as valid, be it allopathic, homeopatic or naturopathic, as long as it is backed up by mainstream reasearch from peer-reviewed print-published journals. If is has real effects, then mainstream scientists will be ready to accept that medicine. They are not stupid, you know.
