I agree that it would appear that Thunderkitty's objective to work as a midwife would be better accomplished by taking the NP route. She could become licensed as a midwife and still be involved in general practice AND be paid handsomely.
Very few N.D.'s make an income comparable to their education or the debt incurred nor are N.D.'s accepted in very many states.
