I've heard recommendations from this board and others to get another degree in addition to ND, with most saying being a nurse practitioner is the best.
Is this only for the license a conventional degree gives you? Or, would NDs really benefit from having the additional training? It seems like a naturopath is supposed to be "higher" than a nurse practitioner, because naturopaths are "physicians"...just seems weird to me that they would be learning much more in nursing/PA school unless ND school is not offering the training it's supposed to.
How common is it to combine the ND degree with something else? How many people are really going back to school or doing some completely different job after getting the ND because they're a) clinically unprepared or b) not making it financially?
