Before inserting tubes make sure to exhaust other options. The tubes cause scarring and hearing loss in the latest long range studies. Removing all dairy resulted in a 30% audiology improvement and the homeopathic phosphorus actually reversed the damage (EENT confirmed and audiology at 100%) I wouldn't promise anything like those results but it is definitely worth exploring treating the cause of the effusion before treating the symptoms. It is also not the end of the world if you need tubes. The important thing is to maintain a total focus on the health of your child without worrying about adhering to any ideology.
