Re: Bastyr, NCNM & Canadian College of naturopathic medicine

as a canadian, people keep telling me that it would be cheaper if i went to school at ccnm. I even orderd the ccnm recrutment DVD (its free!) I highly recomend watching the DVD, it made me want to go to ccnm, but I just cant get over the 'naturopathic diploma' aspect. ccnm is not authorized to grant degrees so you go through the same training but basicly recieve a certificate, which is fine if you plan on practicing in canada but some states are very strict in their legislation and dont allow people with the ccnm 'diploma' to practice.

I hear bastyr has become quite 'new-agey' but i would still like to tour the campus and check things out for my self, the campus looks beautiful. I have seen posts on here about how bad the physical diagnosis training is at bastyr but according to their website they are having really great pass rates.
