Had mine removed yesterday.

I had my IUD removed yesterday. It didn't hurt, kinda felt like pulling out a tampon. After it was removed I found out I had the copper T type of IUD. But was having side effects of the hormonal IUD. I will keep this updated to let others with this type of IUD informed of the improvement, if any, that comes from the removal.
This is what I have noticed so far- although not completely better, I was able to get out of bed this morning without most of the stiffnes in my back and ankles. Still some minor stiffness in my knees and hips but at least I didn't feel like a 70 year old woman when I got up this morning. Also, my weight- day of removal- 143lbs. I will keep you all updated on any progress.
