I have the same concerns. My dad has been on coumadin since his heart surgery in 1994. In the past 6 months he has experienced blood in the stool and anemia, at one point having to be hospitalized and getting 5 units of blood. His cardiologist still wants him to take 5mg of coumadin a day. I was not aware of adverse interactions between coumadin and green veggies & oils -- I have been encouraging my dad to eat these things. Could someone please elaborate on this? Or have other thoughts on the coumadin question?
