I also questioned when I was there last year, and that is the reason I am no longer there this year.
Bastyr prides themselves on being the best, unfortunately the unprofessionalism and uncaring attitude that they administration has can only be reflective of the graduates they produce.
I saw things at the Bastyr Clinic that shocked me, and made me realize I would never be a ND- unprofessional and poorly trained.
My friend graduated two years before and she is still waiting tables and doing massage just to make ends meet!!! I did not go into this profession thinking as a primary care physician I'd have to work three jobs!!
If you have a family as well, forget this route, go to PA or NP school, much better off and have a better scope of practice and more professional knowledge.
