I am so tired of people giving canned advice on calories, exercise, boosting metabolism, hitting plateaus, etc. I went through a very stressful experience earlier this year, got back into my daily exercise routine, was already eating whole foods (Natural Gourmet grad) and gained 8 lbs. My acupuncturist was the one who suggested stress hormone imbalances as a result of that untreated stress reaction and treated them. The information Dr. Maloney gives just really explains what happened to me very clearly. I totally believe in eating the highest quality foods I can and as much as I want, when I want them, and I do not gain weight nor do I "over eat."
