Hi
I had a mirena coil put in last week - have had some cramping, much like period pain. I was put on the coil due to extreme periods and low iron.
I can feel it in there but then I am very aware of my body.
The gyn put it in mid cycle (for me 5 days) and it stopped the cycle as soon as the next day.
Early days yet but I did try depro provera once and I tried to commit suicide on it 5 times - made me nuts...

mirena, so far, so good.
