Surgery and Fish oils

Hi,

I'm having surgery in a week and my naturopath assured me it's okay to continure fish oils. Everything I read on the net says not to. I haven't found any alternative studies saying it's okay and I'm getting nervous about it. Does anyone have any info on this saying that it is safe and the other studies are old saying that it could cause excessive bleeding?
