I have read from numerous sources (including scientific articles) about the ability of phytochemicals to inhibit cancer cell proliferation. Therefore, it may also serve as an effective chemoprevention compound, that has low toxicity. So I want to share with you, what phytochemicals I have found. While I can't guarantee you that they are effective, all the numerous sources I have read sounded pretty positive. (look on pubmed.com)
I also read that some of the different phytochemicals may actually work together (synergic). Knowing that, I think it is important to use not 1, but a combination of different phytochemicals. So, I have searched for cheap sources of good (bioavailable) phytochemicals. This is what I found:
Diosmetin (diosmin):

Half life approx. 30 hours.
Quercetin:

Half life approx. 20 hours.
Genistein:

Half life approx. 8 hours.
Diosmin is sold in drug stores. It is named Daflon 500.
Rutin supplements are very cheap and they contain quercetin rutinoside. They are sold in vitaminstores.
Genistein is what you can find in soy drink or in supplements.
Remember that combining several of these compounds may be important. Also remember that you should always discuss supplement usage with your doctor. I sincerely hope that you are benefitted by this information.
