I had the same issues. I hate to tell you this but I had it in for one year. I had acid reflux like symptoms and actually started getting nauseous and throwing up every two weeks when I got my period. Come to find out after an ultrasound, excessive digging and an xray, It was in my abdomen. Yep, that's not where it is supposed to be. Now, it's out, but after surgery. Don't mean to scare you, but thought you should be aware.
