Well iv just had my mirena taken out and wanted to post a posting every week for you ladies. I had the 'thing' taken out today. I have mild cramping, little spoting but didn't hurt at all!!! I had it removed due to acne, pain in my right thigh...(v.bad pain) which was also in my hip and travelled around to my bum, I had pysio therapy, hip scans and still pain there. I read the postings on this sight and found that maybe...just maybe....the pain in my thigh, hip and bum could be due to the mirena. My other symptoms include, tearfull, angey, depressed episodes...(even though i have a happy fullfilled life) constant thrush, didn't want sex at all, pain in right overy, and generally didnt feel well. The evil thing is now out and im looking forward to having my body back! ill post once a week to keep you informed. xxx
