I am a mother of two and had the Mirena put in yesterday. I was on my period when it was put in and my period is actually a little heavier now. It hurt like hell when it was placed in and I am worried about the side effects after reading all of your posts. I can feel it in me and when i sit in certain positions I can feel it almost poking me. I hope it works for me because I really need BC that I can count on so that I can focus on my own health without having to worry about getting pregnant. Will post again after a few weeks and let you know how it is going.
