numbness in hand

I have been working with a naturopath and have been given herbal supplements, CoQ10, fish oils, evening primrose, amino acids, calcium, magnesium and potassium. I have recently started having numbness in my left arm/hand. He has me taking megadoses of these supplements/herbs. I contacted the naturopath who said it's just my body detoxing. I have no health issues. I went to him for anxiety/depression. I went to my family doctor regarding the numbness and he was puzzled. They couldn't find anything wrong. Is there a reason this could be happening and is it dangerous?
