SCNM training vs. allopathic (UA med)

Hello. I'm currently in the process of applying to naturopathic medical school, but I have some hesitations. Reading through this forum, I see there are a lot of disillusioned naturopathic students-- many of whom decided to go to MD school instead. The naturopathic school I am applying to is SCNM, as I hear it is the most evidence-based. As an alternative, I am thinking about attending the University of Arizona School of Medicine, and perhaps taking some of their Integrative Medicine coursework. (Yes, I have the grades to go to MD school.) I could later pursue an ND degree in the future. I hear UA med is one of the most progressive allopathic schools in the country, especially when it comes to treating disadvantaged populations.

My concern with going to naturopathic school is not soley about money-- but rather what is in the best interest for patients. I am very scientific in my approach, and am committed to practicing evidence-based medicine. I love the naturopathic philosophy, and I see a naturopath myself for my own health care. But I really want very good clinical training (and not just seeing healthy underclassmen students-- as the Bastyr grad says). Any suggestions would be great. Thx!
